My story begins quite the opposite: before I became a publisher of Digital Publishing I did my first degree in law at Tel Aviv University. After that I specialized in criminal cases. I discovered that the files that were of interest to me were of criminals and murderers who would not let me sleep peacefully. Then the big crisis came and I traveled to India for a long journey. So far, not quite unusual, at least not in Tel Aviv – where I live right now. Many Israelis are looking for themselves, but I really found myself on a lonely mountain in a remote village that is not even marked on maps.
Some people do not really care what they do in their careers. For me it’s in the blood. At the age of 12 I sold carrots in the neighborhood. At the age of 16, I moved to a sugar machine next to the Scouts and Hanoar Haoved kibbutz. In 16 I was a superpower of chewing gum and scratch cards and then came the army and of course “my brother’s combat.” I went to the cruiser as hard as possible and when I was released I hurried to the fast track to success. The problem is that when you get high, where you thought your place was, you might find you were wrong. I understood this in a very large money laundering affair involving several of Israel’s leaders. A case that any young attorney dreams of being a part of, but I’m really disgusted, to protect tycoons, not really for me
So I cut to India for a year trip with lots of parties and unconventional experiences. I broke my head what to do and finally I met a monk who pointed to a mountain and told me to understand. I got to the top of the mountain, sweating and tired from the whole year of the journeys, looking at the landscape around me and thinking: another hallucinatory one. But then suddenly my cellphone rang, where there was no logical explanation of how it would be absorbed. It was a mother who wanted to know I was all right and I kept talking to her and then surfing the internet a little – a pleasure I had not had for at least six months. You have no idea what a joy it is to see advertisements, items, gossip, the girl’s salafi who threw you and did an unsuccessful nose surgery and even the posts you put up when you were something you no longer feel completely there. From that moment I did not stop skiing. The rest of the trip was between towns with internet and when I understood that I had found my new fascination I returned to Israel. I attended all the courses on Digital Publishing, I learned goggles, and I take the first steps in social networks as well. It is a wonderful world that is renewed before our eyes and creates an entire culture in which even one small person can do something great
